Specialized
![]()
For 35 years, Specialized has focused on the rider’s need for functional, technically advanced bikes and equipment that provide a true performance benefit. This founding principle is at the heart of the 2012 lineup.
They have added the new Venge model, which is already winning sprints for Mark Cavendish and others. Most recently, Alberto Contador won the 2011 Giro D’Italia riding a Specialized.
For a great cross-country ride, the Epic has advanced its suspension technology while cutting weight. Whether it is through their bikes or other Specialized products including the Women’s line and Globe Series, their goal is to improve your riding experience.
For the rest of us, Specialized produces a large line of more relaxed geometry road bikes for men and women. The Dolce, Secteur, Roubaix and Ruby are great for long rides, and can also be right at home in a peleton.
Cannondale

Founded in 1971, and headquartered in Bethel, Connecticut, Cannondale has consistently been a cutting-edge bicycle company.
Cannondale’s Liquigas road racing team performed admirably in all three Grand Tours in 2009. They won the Giro D’Italia and the Vuelta in 2010. They are riding the new, ultra lightweight EVO model for the 2012 season.
Cannondale’s product creation process always starts with the rider and considers the entire bike in the development.
With System Integration, Cannondale makes components to meet performance expectations. Beginning in 1992, System Integration was born with the introduction of the Headshock, followed by Lefty Forks, Headsets, Stems, Forks, and Cranks.
Electra

Electra’s ”Original Modern Cruisers” are an evolution of the classic design that helped define America in the 1940′s and 50′s.
They kept this style and the attitude, while integrating today’s technology. Electra uses lightweight materials, and engineer their bikes to be a blast to ride in addition to their good looks.
